Chiswick Park wants to look its best at all times, and therefore the cleaning staff needs to be fully aware of the standards expected when carrying out their tasks. For this reason, Forge designed some swatch books for the staff that would help to reinforce the Park’s values and expectations.
The books were small and pocket-sized, so could easily be carried. They included images of how each area should look after cleaning, as well as some brief text to outline the cleaning guidelines.
Together, the text and images were concise and clear, offering sound instruction. To ensure that every task was covered in the book whilst keeping the item small, Forge designed the book to be reversible. The book was a big success amongst the staff and has certainly helped to maintain the Park’s high standards.
